Static sites have low maintenance and usually load fast — perfect for small businesses. “Static” refers to how the site is built, not the user experience: static pages can still feel dynamic with animations or videos.

Dynamic websites
For those who want to manage content themselves without deep programming knowledge.
These sites use PHP‑based content management systems (CMS) and usually a database to render content dynamically. Common CMS choices include WordPress, Joomla, or Typo3. Due to their complexity, dynamic sites require more regular maintenance than static ones.
SSL certificates included
Encryption on the web is essential. Most websites today use SSL/TLS certificates so data between servers and end users is encrypted.
All sites we host include a modern ECDSA certificate by default, issued by Let’s Encrypt — you don’t have to lift a finger. Need a certificate from a different CA? Get in touch.

Own domain
Your own domain is how customers reach your site. We manage everything for you while you remain the official holder. A .de domain is included in the base packages. Additional domains can be booked and are billed separately.
Domains are billed annually. If you use multiple services with us, you only pay once per domain per year.

Can I migrate my existing website to cryeffect Media Group?
Yes. We’ll help migrate both static and dynamic sites reliably. Depending on complexity or provider limitations, extra effort/costs may apply — we’ll find a solution together.
I want a new website — do I build it myself or does cryeffect Media Group do it for me?
We can support you in building a new site (static or dynamic) and help you choose the best option. Get in touch. You can also build it yourself; we provide the infrastructure and support you as needed.
Can I maintain my site myself?
Yes — dynamic sites with a CMS can usually be maintained without deep programming knowledge. Static sites are typically edited manually; that’s also possible and we’re happy to assist. Alternatively, we can maintain the site for you based on your change requests.
How do I access my website?
Access the site in a browser via your domain/subdomain. Administrative access to site files is via secure SFTP or SCP using credentials we provide; plain FTP is generally disabled for security. For dynamic sites, you’ll use the CMS admin interface; for databases, tools like phpMyAdmin are available.
Can I run a website without my own domain?
Yes — you can use a subdomain from us, e.g., yourwebsite.cryhost.de. This is great for testing or if you don’t yet own a domain. For production we strongly recommend using your own domain for a professional presence.
Can I use multiple domains for one site?
Yes. You can point multiple domains to one website. You can choose whether additional domains should redirect to the primary domain or serve the site directly.
